Patricia “Patsy” Ann Calbury, 63, of Halifax, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Shoreham Village in Chester.

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Kenneth Douglas and Mona Gertrude (Richards) Calbury.

Patsy lived a life filled with laughter, love for cards, and her special lunch dates. Patsy worked a long career at Saint Mary’s University in the Athletic Department. Although never married, she had enormous love for her siblings, her nieces and nephews and all their children. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her big hugs and her kind heart.

Patsy is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Percy) Tanner of Hubbards, Donna (Dwight) Mallory of Dartmouth; brothers, Ronald (Gloria) Calbury, Hawaii, John Calbury of Sackville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Kenneth Sr. (Peter) and Mona, her brother Kenneth Jr. and sister-in-law Jerry Calbury.

A Celebration of Life for Patsy will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Hubbards and Area Lions Club from 1:00- 4:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

We, the family would like to thank the nurses & CAA & staff at Shoreham Village in Chester for their exceptional care of Patsy during her time there.
