Experts at the Weather Network are predicting we’ll see a whole lot more storms forming off the east coast of the U.S. Which means there could be “a higher risk to Atlantic Canada than what we have seen from a typical hurricane season”.
Colorado State University brought out a long-range forecast, They are predicting 17 named storms. (On an average year we usually only see 12). They are predicting 8 hurricanes , with the possibility of four of those eight being major hurricanes.
Our hurricane season begins on June 1st.
