Online Order Fails

Lately I’ve been ordering a lot of things from Amazon. Most of the time I try to buy local but there are some things you just can’t get locally in the stores.

My wife Karen loves to cook and there are certain ingredients for ethnic dishes that aren’t always available.

For example, she uses Coconut oil in her Indian and Thai recipes. And she prefers the Kirkland Coconut oil from Costco but we aren’t members anymore. And I’m not going to sign up for another membership just for one or two things a year. So we ordered a huge jug of the stuff from Amazon.

And that got me craving some hot and spicy East Indian snacks called “Punjabi snacks”. Well, I couldn’t just order one little bag so I ordered a big box of multiple bags.

Now I thought these would be like the boxes of little bags of potato chips you get at Halloween.

Nope. I almost put my back out when I picked up the box. They are big bags of the stuff! We have a lifetime supply that expires this Christmas!

And they seem hotter and spicier than I remember them from years ago when I first tried them!

Have you miscalculated when ordering online? What surprises came in that box delivered to your door?
