Charges for an Ontario man after a youth from West Hants received sexually explicit messages.
RCMP say the investigation began three years ago, and involved authorities in both provinces.
The material was sent to the youth’s phone through a social media platform.
Police were able to digitally trace the source to a 29-year-old man from Woodstock.
He was charged in May after his devices were searched, and a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued in August.
Officers from Nova Scotia travelled to Ontario to arrest him on August 25.
He’s now in custody in Nova Scotia, and appeared in court in Kentville.
