Nova Scotia Power is reporting an outage that is affecting over 500 customers.
The areas affected are primarily to the south of Lunenburg. They include Back Centre, Front Centre, First South, Corkum’s Island, Masons Beach, Tanners Settlement, Grimms Settlement, Crouse’s Settlement, Indian Path, Bayport, Feltzen South and the Riverport area.
Nova Scotia Power did not return our calls to confirm the cause of the outage but on its website they estimate power will be restored around 5:30 p.m. tonight.
