Pavement Improvement Project Set To Begin In Bridgewater

Expect traffic delays starting next week in Bridgewater as work begins on the town’s annual pavement improvement program.

During 2021-2022 budget deliberations, Town Council committed 515,000 to improve the roads throughout Bridgewater.

The project is expected to begin on Sunday, August 22nd and its estimated that the work will be completed in about 3 weeks.

Pavement will be upgraded in the following 12 areas around the town:

  • King Street (Victoria to Empire)
  • Aberdeen Road (Glen Allan to Hirtle)
  • North Street (Winburn to LaHave)
  • Glen Allan Drive (LaHave to Etna)
  • Dufferin Street (Exhibition to Centennial)
  • Exhibition Drive (Hillside Pines to Jubilee)
  • Maple Street (Dufferin/Maple intersection)
  • King Street (Maple to Park)
  • DesBrisay Drive (Smith to Beechwood)
  • Olympiad Avenue (Pinecrest to Smith)
  • Logan Road (King to Wentzell)
  • King Street (Logan to Oickles)
