Province funds health worker recruitment projects on South Shore

Funding for healthcare professional recruitment on the South Shore.

The province says it will help organizations put on community-led projects and events.

The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore will get over $32,000.

The Town of Bridgewater will have roughly the same amount for it’s Explore Bridgewater marketing campaign.

The South Shore Multicultural Association will use nearly $30,000 for event nights and cultural celebrations.

Mayor David Mitchell says the area will be better prepared for new arrivals and succesful moves into the community.
