Province to provide free COVID, flu vaccines

We need to remain careful, but not alarmed.

That’s the message today from the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang.

He provided an update on COVID-19 and respiratory viruses in the province.

While he says we’re seeing an increase, it’s lower than other pandemic waves.

He encourages everyone to get their COVID boosters, as well as their flu shots to give the best protection.

The province is providing the high-dose flu vaccine free for those 65 and older.
