There will be no public or lane swims at the Luneburg Swimming Pool on Friday evening and Saturday due to a swim meet.
Final preparations for the meet are being made for the Lunenburg Mariners Invitational on Friday night and the meet will occupy the pool all of Saturday.
The meet is also still in need of a few volunteers to serve as scribes during the afternoon races on Saturday, no experience is required and anyone interested is asked to contact the Mariners via email.
On Sunday the pool will resume its regular schedule, additionally, this Sunday’s swim is being made a free open house hosted by Lunenburg MLA Susan Corkum-Greek.
