Public Works condemns hate symbols on Highway 103 overpasses

The Department of Public Works has issued a statement after being notified of hate symbols painted on overpasses along Highway 103.

Images of the Diagolon flag on overpasses began circulating earlier this week.

The group’s motto is “gun or rope” and a House of Commons report labelled them as a “violent extremist organization,”.

Upon learning of the graffiti, Public Works mobilized resources to remove them and notified the police.

Public Works did not confirm how many overpasses had been vandalized but our newsroom has confirmed it was on at least three overpasses between Chester and Bridgewater.
