Q playoffs: Mooseheads eliminated, Eagles lead 3-1

The Halifax Mooseheads were bounced from the Q playoffs in four straight.

They lost to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-2 in Game 4 of their first round series Wednesday night.

It’s an upset for the second ranked Moose, who went all the way to the league final last season.

The Cape Breton Eagles will get another chance to win their series in Rimouski on Friday night.

They fell 4-3 in Game 4 Wednesday, and still lead the series 3-1.

Moncton, Saint John and Charlottetown were also swept out of the playoffs with Game 4 losses.
