Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is being honoured with a multi faith service and a 21 gun salute in Halifax.
Lieutenant Governor Arthur J Leblanc is set to read a eulogy and Premier Tim Houston will deliver a tribute.
The service will be at the Cathedral Church of All Saints.
