Queens County bolsters Fire Inspection Team

In a strategic move aimed at fortifying the county’s firefighting capabilities, the Region of Queens has taken a decisive step to augment its fire inspection workforce. The development transpired during the most recent council meeting, where Myles Harlow was appointed as the second fire inspector within the region.

This decision comes as a concerted effort to effectively manage the mounting responsibilities associated with fire inspections across the municipality. Tim Clattenburg currently shoulders the exclusive role of the lone fire inspector, a responsibility that encompasses the entirety of the municipality’s fire safety evaluations.

The newly appointed fire inspector, Myles Harlow, concurrently holds the position of a building inspector within the Region. His transition into this dual capacity is poised to have an immediate effect on the fire inspection landscape.
