Wet and windy weather continues for many areas of the province.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Annapolis, Digby, Queens, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties.
An additional 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected by Saturday morning.
Rainfall rates may exceed 10 mm per hour in the heaviest rain.
The forecaster advises that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Northerly winds could reach a maximum of 80 km/h Friday night.
Meanwhile, a les suêtes wind warning is in effect in Inverness County – Mabou and north for Friday evening until Saturday morning.
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring from Margaree Harbour to Bay St. Lawrence.
Southeasterly winds could gust up to 90 km/h.
