The STFX X-Men came close, but couldn’t win the national men’s basketball final in Halifax.
They fell 109-104 in double-overtime to the Carleton Ravens in the championship game of the U SPORTS Final 8 tournament.
It’s the first medal at the event for the X-Men in 11 years, while the Ravens won their fourth straight U SPORTS championship.
The game was played in front of 9,000 fans at Scotiabank Centre.
