The Mounties are investigating a fatal crash in Lower Branch.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Lower Branch Road at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
Officers were told a dump truck had left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time,” a news release says.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Lower Branch Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
