A crash in Middle Stewiacke last night has left one person dead.
The RCMP say that a 58-yearold Lower Sackville man was travelling alone in a motorhome on Highway 289 when the vehicle left the road and ended up in a ditch. He was the sole occupant of the motorhome, and no other cars were involved in the crash.
Police arrived at the scene around 9:05 p.m. and the man was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Sadly, he was later pronounced deceased.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and Highway 289 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
