RCMP investigating motorcycle thefts in Mahone Bay

Police are appealing for help after three motorcycles were stolen during a break-in at a Mahone Bay business.

It happened in the early hours of July 19, when two people broke in around 2:30 a.m. and took three bikes — a Kawasaki, a KTM, and a Honda.

Surveillance video shows the suspects wearing dark clothing and helmets. One carried a backpack and wore a blue helmet, while the other wore a grey sweater and silver helmet.

RCMP say the theft is linked to a stolen Ford F150 taken from a nearby business the same night. They believe it was used to haul the motorcycles, and the truck was later found in Torbrook, Annapolis County.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the suspects or the motorcycles to call Lunenburg County RCMP at 902-527-5555. Anonymous tips can also be shared through Crime Stoppers.
