A 16-year-old suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in an off road collision in New Ross.
On June 23, 2023, at around 6:45 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, EHS and fire services responded to a report of an off-road vehicle collision near Lake Lawson Road.
They learned that a side-by-side and dirt bike collided head on. The 16-year-old was driving the dirt bike and had to be airlifted to hospital by LifeFlight.
The occupants of the side-by-side were not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
