RCMP Lay 73 Charges Against Three People After Recent Property Crimes

Three people face 73 charges after incidents in Lunenburg, Queens and Shelburne Counties.

Police say two men and a woman were arrested July 25 in Bridgewater and Halifax in relation to a recent rash of business break and enters and motor vehicle thefts.

The incidents occurred between July 7th and 21st.

Police seized stolen property from several locations that had been victimized, and some clothing that had been worn during the offences.

Two stolen vehicles were also recovered.

Twenty-five year-old Tristan Gary Burns of Truro is charged with 33 offences while 23 year-old Tristan John Russell of Bridgewater faces 26 charges.

Twenty-one year-old Vanessa Rines of Bridgewater is charged with 14 offences.

The three were remanded into custody and were expected to appear in Bridgewater court today.
