The Region of Queens is asking local residents to help them cheer on their own Sarah Mitton who will be competing in her second Olympics this summer.
They are looking for video submissions, 10 seconds or less of locals cheering on and showing their support for Mitton as she begins her final preparations for the Paris games.
Mitton will be looking to win her first Olympic medal at this year’s games, coming into the event ranked second in the world.
Anyone interested in submitting a video can email it to the region.
For those looking to follow Mitton at the summer games, the opening ceremonies take place on July 26, and the women’s shotput will occur between August 7-8.
