The Region of the Municipality of Queens has terminated Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Cody Joudrey’s contract.
The decision was made by the council at a special meeting held Monday morning.
Mayor Scott Christian says the dismissal came as a result of the new council not feeling the fit was right with Joudrey and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Pam Lovelace who was recently hired as a municipal clerk will be taking over the responsibilities of CAO on an interim basis while the council begins their search for a permanent replacement.
Joudrey had been in the role of CAO since September 2023.
