Santa For South Shore Seniors Gearing Up For Holidays

The Santa For South Shore Seniors program is once again planning to deliver gift baskets to seniors from around the South Shore and they have just opened the nomination process.

To get involved you simply need to email the coordinators and provide some basic info on the person you are nominating including; their first name, age, address, and a wish list.

Each nomination will then be posted online so members of the community can volunteer to provide some of the items on the wish list.

Typically the baskets contain things like; toiletries, snacks, slippers, and other simple household items.

In addition to those nominated the program also receives lists of seniors in need from a few of the local long-term care homes that are also posted online closer to the holidays.
