Saulnier, Turnbull Headed To Second Olympics With Team Canada

Three Nova Scotians are headed to Beijing with Team Canada’s women’s hockey team.

Jill Saulnier of Halifax and Blayre Turnbull of Stellarton will lace up for their second Winter Games, after winning Silver in 2018.

Both won gold with Canada at last summer’s Women’s World Hockey Championship in Calgary.

Troy Ryan of Spryfield will make his Olympic debut as Head Coach.

The former MHL Coach of the Year has been behind the bench with Hockey Canada programs since 2016.

Hockey Canada announced the roster yesterday.
