Saving 64 Billion

Consumer groups tell us that in North America we could save 64 billion dollars if we bought generic store brand items.

64 Billion! That’s a lot of money saved.

But some of us are very particular about what we buy. Especially ketchup lovers who like their Heinz.

I am not a Heinz fan boy, but I must admit the stuff tastes a little bit better than the other brands.

However I don’t use enough ketchup on my food to pay that extra money for a name brand.

Also, years ago when no name brands first entered the marketplace there were some really substandard products with that label.

Nowadays I actually prefer some of the store brands to the big name labels.

What products do you refuse to replace with generic store brands?
