Police in Truro say they’re shifting from search mode to recovery mission following the disappearance of a three-year-old boy.
Dylan Ehler was reported missing after he disappeared from his grandmother’s yard Wednesday afternoon.
Members of search crews found the boy’s boots in a brook near the Salmon River Wednesday night.
In a statement, police say extensive efforts have not yielded any new clues or information, so they’re moving to recovery mode, in consultation with Dylan’s family members.
They say that doesn’t mean they’ve given up hope on finding him.
