Serious collision in Lunenburg, Lifeflight dispatched

Emergency crews are on scene at a collision in Lunenburg currently.

Reports indicate it is a single-vehicle collision, though details about the vehicle involved have not been released. A LifeFlight ambulance has been dispatched to help transport a person that sustained life-threatening injuries.

Bluenose Drive is currently closed to traffic between King Street and Linden Avenue and the Town says as of now they do not know when it will reopen.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible so as to allow first responders better access to the scene.

More to follow.
