Sewer testing to produce non-harmful smoke in Shelburne

Sewer tests are coming up in Shelburne.

The town says a company will be doing a sanitary smoke study next week.

They say it’s to identify any leaks in the system.

The company will pump a harmless, non-damaging smoke into the system, and it won’t enter any houses unless there is a cross-connection.

If it does happen, you’re advised to open a door or window.
