Shelburne donates Christmas tree to Gloucester, Massachusetts

Another Christmas tradition between Nova Scotia and Massachusetts.

A tree from Shelburne is heading to Gloucester, it’s been a tradition between the ‘sister cities’ for over 20 years.

This year’s tree came from the Doane family of Lower Ohio.

In a post, State Senator Bruce Tarr thanked Shelburne for continuing the tradition, saying it reminds us of the strong bonds we share across borders and the spirit of giving.

The tree will be lit on November 30.
