Shelburne’s Roseway Hospital emergency department closed until Thursday

The emergency department at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne is closed for a couple of days.

Nova Scotia Health says it will re-open Thursday, March 28th at 8 a.m.

Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911 and for general health advice call 811.

Meanwhile, mobile primary care clinics will be at the Shelburne Family Practice, 1606 Lake Road on the following dates:

Wednesday, March 27, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, April 3, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, April 6, from 10 to 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, April 24 from 5 to 9 p.m.

These are drop-in clinics.

Tuesday, March 26th the Shelburne Family Practice Primary Care Clinic (PCC) will have extended hours with evening appointments available. The PCC has appointments for people without a primary care provider (doctor or nurse practitioner) and can address non-urgent health issues.

The Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Line can also be reached 24/7 by calling 1-888-429-8167.
