So Many Pies, So Little Time!

Fall is that time of year when all those wonderful fruits to fill pie shells become available everywhere.

Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie and so many more.

I thought I loved pumpkin pie but my mother told me that all those years when I thought I was eating pumpkin pie I was really eating pie filled with squash.

I love a good strawberry rhubarb pie – they really complement each other.

Sugar pie and Pecan pie are usually too sweet – too rich for me.

Key Lime Pie , if you’ve never had a slice, is like biting into sunshine.

Of course there are the lovers of mile high Lemon Meringue pies.

But my favourite fruit and pastry combo has to be cherry pie.
