Not that any of us want to get used to living as we current are, but we seem to be sorting getting the hang of it.
Sure, maybe the premier had to get a bit upset and yell at us a bit, but we seem to be doing okay. Just a few more weeks and all should be good… hopefully.
And things seem to be adjusting. There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of entertainment. Especially around here. The Ultimate Online Nova Scotia Kitchen Party on Facebook has a ton of things to check out, including lots of songs by South Shore performers.
There are two online concerts happening tonight in the area. The Town Of Bridgewater have an online variety show on their Facebook page popping up around 7:00 PM. Also around the same time, Art Happening is holding a virtual open mic night. You have to register on the Eventbrite website and they will send you a link for Zoom so you can join in. But lots of local entertainment is available.
And tomorrow night, Choir!Choir!Choir! in Toronto are holding an online session. This is great because you don’t have to be in Toronto to join in. If you haven’t heard of Choir!Choir!Choir!, it’s a couple guys in Toronto who hold informal choir sessions where people, for a small fee, can drop by and learn to sing a sing with a bunch of other people. Since they’re moving it online this week, all of us can join in and sing along. Choir gowns are not needed, but I suppose if you got one around, who’s gonna tell you no.
There’s lots of things to keep us entertained. All we have to do is look for them.
Sure. there are frustrations, but we seem to be adapting. Keep it up.
