Souls Harbour Bridgewater gets donation to boost renovation efforts

Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Bridgewater has been given a $5000 donation from The South Shore Regional Hospital Auxiliary.

This funding will be allocated towards the kitchen renovation project, which plays a crucial role in aiding the Mission’s efforts to provide meals for homeless individuals and those facing food insecurity in Lunenburg County.

The decision to contribute was influenced by Bridgewater Souls Harbour Mission lead Jennifer Parnell’s account of the daily trials experienced by Soul’s Harbour clients, offering a clear portrayal of the ongoing necessity for funding and support.

In cold weather the Mission provides hot meals, a warm place to go and free clothing for anyone who asks.
