South Shore Lumberjacks climb to top of standings after latest win

The South Shore Lumberjacks climbed to the top spot in their divisional standings after their latest win this weekend.

On Saturday, the Jacks travelled to Antigonish to take on the Bulldogs. Coming into the game, they were second in the standingsngs, trailing East Hants by just one point.

The Jacks edged out a 2-1 win with goals from Leo MacLean and Will Cook. The win earned the Jacks two points, and with the Bulldogs losing their weekend matchup against the Capstone Colts, the Jacks overtook them in the standings.

The Jacks don’t have any midweek games this week, with their next game coming on Saturday when they travel to Brookfield to take on the Elks.
