South Shore Minor Hockey Association Hands Out Year-End Awards

The head coach of the Atom A South Shore Lumberjacks has been recognized by the minor hockey association.

Tim Lynch was named this year’s coach of the year at last night’s year-end banquet at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.

Team of the year went to the Midget A Lumberjacks while the sportsmanship award was given to Preston Cudmore of the Midget C team.

Spencer Simpson and Locke Davidson of the Peewee C ‘Jacks won most improved and teammate of the year awards, respectively.

Laura Herritt was named volunteer of the year and Andrew Miller received the official of the year award.

Travis Vaughn was also recognized with a special volunteer award.
