Spring Storm To Hit N.S. Today

If you wear a hat, hold onto it today.

Environment Canada is out with warnings and special weather statements ahead of a spring storm.

A rainfall warning is in effect from Halifax to Yarmouth along the South Shore, with 30-60 millimetres expected to fall from mid-morning to late evening.

It will also be windy, as gusts could reach 90 kilometres per hour in some areas.

Wind warnings have been issued for Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby County.
