Some of the largest outages are in Halifax, Hants County and Mahone Bay.

Rain and wind warnings are being lifted in some spots, like Southwestern Nova Scotia.

There are reports of trees and power lines down on roads in some areas.

Some schools were forced to close early due to power outages.
