Get ready for a wet and windy weekend in Nova Scotia.
In a special weather statement, Environment Canada is forecasting heavy rain and strong winds starting Saturday morning and ending Sunday.
Between 40 and 70 mm of rainfall is expected.
South winds could gust to 70km/h but up to 90km/h along the coast.
The strongest winds are expected over eastern parts of the province, depending on how the system tracks.
Similar storms have caused hazardous driving conditions, localized flooding, and scattered utility outages.
