A lot of us look down our nose at the store bought box of “Stove Top Stuffing”.
Now, I am going to get into a lot of trouble on the home front for spilling the beans on this one.
First, my wife Karen hides the box. You see, the kids love her “homemade” stuffing for Christmas dinner.
What they don’t know is that their mother uses Stove Top as the “base” for her delicious stuffing.
To be fair , she adds a lot of other ingredients to the box of stuffing that totally transforms it into something very special.
But Stove Top Stuffing gets such a bad rap. It’s considered the “Hamburger Helper” of Christmas dinner.
So, Stove Top Stuffing or Mom’s homemade stuffing recipe? Which do you prefer?
