RCMP says there was no ill intent after a suspicious incident in Newport Station this morning on Highway 1.
West Hants District RCMP say a woman asked a group of children walking by if they wanted to get into the van she was driving, so they could get out of the heavy rain.
The children kept walking and the woman drove away.
The woman contacted RCMP when they asked for the public’s help to talk to her regarding the incident.
