My wife Karen watches a lot of cooking shows and, yes, I too get caught up in them while I’m working on the computer.
But one thing that I have never seen addressed by Gordon Ramsay or Bobby Flay or even Guy Fieri is why some foods are so much better the next day as leftovers.
Lasagna is better the next day. So is chili. Stews just seem to get better and better with age.
I love leftover homemade soup.
And, in between soup and stew the very best leftover the next day, in my opinion, has to be seafood chowder.
Do you agree or do you look forward to a different next day meal?
