The District Of Lunenburg Recreation’s “Children’s Fishing Derby” Will Be Head Virtually This Year. Here’s How to Enter!!!

Everything is pretty much different this year, but I love how everyone has gotten creative to keep the fun times and events still rolling.

Due to Covid, The District Of Lunenburg Recreation’s “Children’s Fishing Derby” had to be switched up, and it’s being held virtually!!

How does it work? It’s pretty simple. Here’s the rules they posted over on their Facebook page:

“The contest will run from July 10th until July 20th. The contest is open to participants who are 15 and under.
How to enter:
Step One: Go out and catch a fish!
Step Two: Post a photo of your fish in the comments below, or email your photo to Mariah.Kelley@modl.ca.
Step Three: Tell us the length of the fish you catch and also the age of the child who caught it (this way we can place them in the appropriate category).
Step Four: Share this post!
Once you have completed those few steps you will be entered for a chance to win in your age category! Good luck everyone, may the longest fish win!”
Pretty great right!!! Now….it’s time to go Fishing!!! Have fun!!!
