The TV sitcom Friends, from 1994 to 2004, with 236 episodes was a major part of pop culture.
I’ve never seen a single show.
So I was very surprised yesterday when I sat down to watch the Friends reunion. It was great!
I know all the actor’s names but couldn’t match them up with their character’s names if you offered me a thousand bucks.
Thanks to pop culture coverage in the tabloids, on television and through social media I’ve absorbed a little bit about Friends over the years, like the coffee shop where they meet is called Central Perk and that Phoebe sings a great song called “Smelly Cat”
But I had no clue about things like “Pivot” or the bathtub scene.
Now I’m interested in seeing some episodes.
Should I binge watch the whole series over the next few weeks of lockdown?
