It’s July 4th and our American friends south of the border are celebrating with barbecues and cook outs.
In New York City the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest is on, where Joey Chesnutt will again defend his title.
Last year he ate 76 hot dogs in ten minutes.
I could maybe handle 3 hot dogs if they were done the way I like them.
I like the bun steamed not toasted and the dog barbecued not boiled.
Then mustard, relish, raw onions and if there is any available – some sauerkraut.
