The Votes Are In….Canada’s Most Popular Thanksgiving Side Dish Is….

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holiday’s and when it comes to the meal…it’s hard to beat.

Of course you the turkey, but you also have side dishes like stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, sweet potato, brussel sprouts….

But what side dish reigns supreme when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner?

Well we have to break this down into categories….

According to a release from Chef’s Pencil, Nova Scotia and Canada in general really loves GRAVY.

Newfoundland is the only province in the country that prefers cranberry sauce over gravy.

So ultimately you could say gravy is the favorite. However that’s just sauces.

Canada in general couldn’t decide on one favorite side dish or desert.

Overall though, Nova Scotia loved Roasted Butternut Squash and also Butternut Squash Soup for a side, and Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

Not going to lie….this has all made me very hungry.
