Chef Robbert Jan de Veen of De Daltons diner in Voorthuizen, Netherlands has officially created the world’s most expensive burger!!!
What is it made of?
Beluga caviar, king crab, Spanish Paleta Iberico, white truffle, and English cheddar cheese. It also has barbeque sauce, which is made with Kopi Luwak, one of the costliest coffee beans in the world. Also, the bun is made with Dom Pérignon champagne dough and topped with a gold leaf.
It’s called “The Golden Boy”.
So how much does the World’s most Expensive Burger cost???
It cost $5000 Euro. That’s $7365.76 Canadian.
Seems crazy right…
But here’s the thing. It was a one of a kind burger!! He only made one of these bad boys.
It was bought by Remia International and the burger was eaten by Rober Willemse, chairman of the Royal Dutch Food and Beverage Association.
And why can’t I say the person that bought it was crazy…because the money was donated to a Non profit organization!!!
