Third Jeopardy! win for Nova Scotia’s Mattea Roach

Nova Scotia’s Mattea Roach is now a three-day Jeopardy! champion.

Her total winnings amount to over $80,000 after she took home another $9,599 on Thursday night’s episode of the popular American TV game show.

Roach answered the Final Jeopardy! round incorrectly, but so did the other two contestants.

She only wagered $6,801, which left her with enough money to keep her at the top.

The 23-year-old tutor, who now lives in Toronto, has been providing her thoughts on Twitter, saying she’s so proud of her performance.

During the contestant interviews, Roach also made sure to mention she’s from Halifax as her family thinks that’s very important. Cheers have been ringing out for her from across the province.

Roach has said she’ll use her winnings to pay off her student loan.
