But it could be the weather we need.
Don’t get me wrong. I do not want to see any amount of snow any more. I’m done with it. Nature may not be done with it, but I am.
The thing is, maybe we need the cold, damp, icky weather for a while longer.
Yes, I would love to be fishing. Or walking in the woods with the dog. Or spending an evening by the campfire. But I honestly don’t think we can be trusted with good weather right now.
We seem to prove it with every nice day we get. We seem to congregate a little too close. Spend a little more time than we should chatting. Not that you can really blame people. We are, at heart, social creatures. and being kept apart is not natural. But we really have to for a short while longer.
There are those who would have us believe this whole thing is overblown, but I’d rather not take the chance.
We’ve done fairly well for the past few weeks. Hopefully, we are just about ready to turn the corner. We just have to be careful not to let a little good weather wipe out everything we’ve accomplished so far.
Unfortunately, we probably can’t depend on the weather to stay crappy when we want it to.
