Three new cases, potential exposure on flight

The province has reported three new cases of COVID-19.

Department of Health and Wellness officials say the new cases are in the Central Zone, one related to travel outside of the Atlantic bubble, the other two are linked to a cluster in the Halifax area.

Of those two cases, one is a close contact of a previous case and the other is connected to an exposure at a city bar.

Officials say a Public Health investigation into the cases, and the broader cluster, is ongoing.

One person has recovered, bringing the total active infections to 18.

Meanwhile, Public Health has announced a potential exposure on Air Canada flight AC 7558 from Montreal to Halifax on October 28.
