Two arrested in Lunenburg County following drug trafficking investigation

Two people from Lunenburg County are facing drug trafficking charges following a police investigation targeting drug activity in Lunenburg and Queens counties.

The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop in Hebbville on May 8 as part of the ongoing investigation. A 30-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were arrested without incident.

A short time later, police executed a search warrant at a home on Charles Boliver Road in Conquerall Mills. Officers seized quantities of cocaine and hydromorphone, along with cash, ammunition, and mobile devices.

The two suspects were released with conditions and are scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on August 20.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, which includes members of the Lunenburg District RCMP and Bridgewater Police Service. They were supported by the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia.
